[title of post]

I win the all time nerd award.

As of today I have braces...again.

Well not REALLY braces, more like two brackets and a rubber band but STILL!!

I went to the orthodontist expecting to be told how beautiful my teeth were but what happened instead went something like this:
"Good job with wearing your retainer, your top teeth look great! BUT this bottom one is a little crooked."
(sidenote-I have a permanent bottom retainer...it's a wire cemented to my teeth)
"I think we'll out some brackets on to fix that one tooth. Is that okay?"
[me]"Sure..."

So since my orthodontist is kinda a perfectionist I have more braces...

Now onto the nerd award!
So now at night I wear glasses, have a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth, put in a retainer on my top teeth, AND have braces that I have to change the rubber band on.

:/ hmrph.

I ♥ HP

I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 at midnight and it was EXCELLENT!!!

All the people were so into it and just looking around you could see that everyone had really grown up with Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

It was just unbelievable.
Now for some of my favorite lines that people said throughout the night.

"Silencio! That's not a spell, that's just Spanish."

(After some preview for a movie with Taylor Lautner in it [that was much laughed at]) "Where's Robert Pattinson?!" (sarcastically)

(After the Dolby sound thing) "Dobby?!"
"He's DEAD!!"
"Oh, too soon?"

So those were just some of my favorite snippets.
I'm not gonna give away anything in the movie but if you haven't seen it get up right now and go. I don't care what time it is, you need to go see it NOW!!!

Also I just discovered the song Wizard Love by Meekakitty featuring HeyHiHello.
It's amazing.

And I like these faces from said video.

They are excellent aren't they!

Just thinking about Mulan

A while back I was watching a video on YouTube of I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan and someone had commented something along the lines of, "Shang is totally checking Ping out! Blahblahblah."

Yeah, I can see their point but when I really ponder it I think Shang's thinking is probably more along the lines of "Damn, I'm good! This soldier couldn't even carry a bucket before and now he's beating me up!!"

So take it or leave it....I just thought it.

Book Reviews

Book reviewing while listening to Lelia Broussard!

The Year of Secret Assignments
By: Jaclyn Moriarty
Number of times read: 3
Rate: 2 thumbs up or 5 gold stars
Review: The Year of Secret Assignments is an extremely lovely tale of a pen-pal program between two hostile, Australian schools. First they are Australian and second there are cute boys. Anyway the story revolves around three girls who are bestfriends and their pen-friends. There is the chocolate and horse loving Emily who is writing to Charlie who is always in the principal's office. The somewhat criminal Lydia who writes to Sebastian who loves soccer and art. And Cassie who is writing the mysterious and psychopathic Matthew Dunlop. The story goes through their letters showing us their lives and struggles through them. Secret assignments keep popping up along the way bringing the friends closer together, breaking them apart, and in the end solving a crime (kinda)! I'd reccomend this to about anyone...mother, sister, third cousin twice removed! It's overall just a very enjoyable read.

Goddess Games
By: Niki Burnham
Number of times read: 1
Rate: One thumb on it's side or 1 1/2 to 2 silver stars
Review: This book started with the crazy religious girl who just got into religion recently after previously being a party girl, then we meet (my favorite character) the runner girl from Kansas, and finally the Hollywood brat. All three girls are working at the same mountain resort in Colorado (I think) and are roommates. This book let me down. I read the back and expected it to be wonderful but it turned out pretty annoying and didn't really turn around until the end. Go ahead and read this book but don't expect quite as much out of it...

(I realize that review wasn't helpful...sorry didn't like the book as much.)

So today I realized...

That it had been FOREVER since I'd blogged.
So I decided to tell you about what has been happening.

I don't know why I decided to do this but for the first 3 weeks of June I'm doing basically all my summer activities.
1) I went on a 4-H trip to learn about videography but I had to leave early to do
2) Dance pictures! But as it turns out two of my team mates couldn't be there so I only took two pictures and the rest we took later.
3) A 4-H camp where everyone floated down a river EXCEPT for me because the river was dangerous and my mom wouldn't let me. Turns out that was basically all they were doing at that camp. Anyway I learned how to kill 4 hours at a camp by myself.
4) Dance recital! I had my 10th dance recital and it went EXCEPTIONALLY!!! I did a duo that I choreographed most of and we did an awesome black light dance to Welcome to My Nightmare.
5) Vacation Bible School. I'm helping with this for two days until I leave for
6) County 4-H camp.
Then I will be done with activities for the summer (mostly).

So do you guys have a bunch of summer activities at once or are yours portioned out throughout summer?

Anyway TONY'S TONIGHT!!
I love this show :)

List.

Here are some reasons why by 2:30 in the afternoon on a regular summer day I am inexplicably bored:
1. My friends do not believe in texting back...I guess

2. I didn't find a summer job

3. My friends don't invite me places except for late at night or when I'm busy i.e. babysitting, dancing, or dancing with a baby

4. I'm not usually blogging...I could probably fix that

5. There's nothing good on TV in the afternoon (I mean that got rid of the soaps, who does that?!?)

6. I don't have a book to read

7. I'm too lazy to think of something to do

8. I'm not hungry

So usually I take a walk or listen to music...not bad things to do when you're bored.
It's better than doing drugs, or drinking, or getting pregnant.

I'm really into the song Alabanza from In the Heights right now.
It's one of those songs that makes you cry but is just breathtakingly amazing.
It's one of those songs that makes you want to go onstage and tell a story with music.

On that note...

The End...

It's the last day of April meaning you won't have to hear about my day to day life anymore.
Only the highlights!

Today I went on a Math and Science Club trip.
It was pretty fun.
We went to an amusement park and rode 3 rides because that's all we had time for.
Also people love to go to amusement parks to get pregnant.
I mean REALLY?!?
You HAVE to lay all over your boyfriend and practically do him???
It's just gross.

Now I'm watching Second City videos because my sister told me too.

Also there was a lot of fake raping on the bus on the way home.
Oh the joys of being on a bus for 3 hours with a bunch of high schoolers!

Our oven just freaked out.

All I was trying to do was make cookies!
Then the oven FREAKED OUT!
Like there was a large spark and it looks like some of the coils blew up or something.
Now I have a bunch of raw cookie dough.

In other news tomorrow I'm going on a Math and Science Club trip.
You don't have to know anything about math or science to be in the club...it's just a title.

Also I hate talking on the phone.
Especially to people who act like you're stupid or a little kid and don't understand.

The house smells faintly of burned metal...

Well dad's here to look at the oven.
That's promising!

Added Bonus?

You know that time that you make a Your Mom joke to someone who doesn't have a mom?
Yeah that happened today and now I feel like an insistive, arsehole, jerk.
I just needed to get that out into cyberspace.

I spilled a pop in my car. :(

I just spilled a pop in my car.
Now I'm not as happy.

But in other news Michael's leaving The Office tonight!
It's gonna be sooo sad but good!!!
OH MY GOSH!

So now I need to study for a test tomorrow.
Thursday's are always crazy and have sucky posts so sorry!

In other news last week my friend from Subway wasn't there and today he was!
Also I don't think he charged my enough for my food...

I'm a major Facebook creep.

I'm creeping right now on a girl I kinda know's boyfriend.
I think he looks funny...he's a little too tan.

Also yesterday I did some major creeping because my friend was having Facebook drama.
She wouldn't tell me about it because no one tells me anything and OH MY GOD I SOUND LIKE MY MOTHER!
Anyway I was creeping and pretty much figured out who it was.
Yeah I'm good.
ha!

I've been listening to Next to Normal today and have come to the conclusion that Gabe and Henry sing very hot.
Does that make sense?
Like you hear them sing and you think, "That guy is hot."
Or at least I do...

My jaw hurts today.
It's either because of going to the dentist or singing...a lot.
Probably both.

My sister made a blog!
It's becomingchelsea.blogspot.com
But she hasn't followed me yet...I mean COME ON CHELSEA!
:P

Also on the note of listening to Next to Normal I've lately been singing along with all the words in musicals.
Like I'm that girl who NEVER cusses and I think I've talked about that before on here but I don't. Ever.
But when I'm in my car driving along I sing along with the musicals and it doesn't matter.
Except for the F bombs.
Don't go that far.
Now you know that I'm extremely childish!

Gonna listen to music and eventually read about Biology now!

I went to the dentist today...

And I have a cavity.

This is my sad I have a cavity face.

I brush my teeth pretty well and I don't go around eating junk...
I mean I like to floss!
So I'm gonna blame my retainer.
It doesn't get cleaned as often....I think there might've been mold in the case.
BUT I WASHED IT WELL!!

This is me reprimanding my retainer.
Bad retainer!

So the dentist made me feel bad...not like they were mean, I just always feel bad when I have a cavity.

Quote: "I've got beef between my teeth I'm at a loss, without my floss."

This is me and Roger...we're in love.

Weather Update!

It's been raining here for about 5 days straight.
Just thought you ought to know.

Today I was watching Mulan and caught onto some of the funny stuff that went WAY over my head when I was little.
Such as: “All because Ms. Man decided to take her little drag show on the road.”
Bahaha!
Also when I watch the part when Mulan climbs the pole to get the arrow I always get really excited because she’s about to show up all those guys.
Just makes me pretty happy.

Now onto a subject I haven’t talked about on here yet.
Chachi.
From Happy Days, of course.
So he’s pretty hot and his cousin is the Fonz.
How did he end up with Joannie?
She’s alright but he is much hotter than she is pretty and it’s just CHACHI!
What more can you say?
Also Joannie is a little annoying…
I hope I’m not the only one who loves character from shows on TV Land.

I finished the Hunger Games this morning and it was EXCELLENT!
I now have the other two on hold at the library for me.
:D

Rabbits don't lay eggs...

Happy Easter!
Today we went to church somewhere different and it was…different.
It was good just not the same.
I’m pretty sure I like our church better.
My sister and I hunted Easter eggs this afternoon.
Don’t judge, you know you want to, too!
Now the Sound of Music is on.
Frederick has a thing for Maria.
Pretty sure of that.
Also it’s dreary outside and my Internet is being ridiculous about it.
Grrr…..
Other than that everything’s gone splendidly today.
Freurline Maria missed the Abbey so she went back, and the Von Trapps aren’t getting a new governess…they’re getting a new MOTHER!
Wow.
I hope y’all have a splendid Easter!
Also rabbits don't lay eggs...they're mammals and give birth to live babies.

Why rabbit shows suck....sometimes

Today I went to a rabbit show and got screwed over because I'm not best friends with the judge.
Now for some comic relief:
My rabbit peed on me but instead of it noticeably being my rabbit it looked like I had just peed my pants.
So my dad went to Wal-Mart and got me some sweats.
The only problem was that they had a hole in the crotch and the butt so I had to stand in a particular manner so that everyone couldn't see my hot pink underwear.
Woe is me.
I lied yesterday...I'm pretty jealous of my friends today.
They texted me and said they met the doctor from Next to Normal.
:(
So now I'm just gonna watch Dog the Bounty Hunter with my dad because my mom and sister went somewhere.
yep.

Quote: "Just f*ck it right enough that's it you'll still go on, well for a bit, another day of utter shit."

Friday, April 22, 2011

There isn't school today so I'm happy.

I'm very excited for my friends today because they left to go to St. Louis to see Next to Normal this morning!
I was invited but I knew there would be no way I could go but I'm excited for them anyway.
I know they'll tell me all about it.
:D
Man this makes me sound nice and not spoiled.
I'm spoiled...don't get me wrong.
Also I'm kind of a jerk.
I don't want you guys to get the wrong impression of me...
Today has been spent, so far, doing homework.
This week has been crazy with testing and band contests and somehow I got out of going to Spanish for 3 WHOLE DAYS!
But yesterday I had to go and got homework in a foreign language.
I'm not really a fan of Spanish.
I've psycho-analyzed myself and think it's just because we're required to take it.
I'd love to know a foreign language fluently but since we HAVE to take Spanish I think I'm just put off by it.
It must be the rebel in me.
That's about it for today, no big plans or anything.
Maybe my sister and I will dye Easter Eggs...because IT"S STILL FUN!

Quote: "The stars too, they tell of spring returning and summer with another wind that no one yet has known."

p.s.  I finished Anna and the French Kiss!

Thursday, April 21, 2011

Argh!

I am currently tearing myself away from Anna and the French Kiss to write this.
You're welcome...
Today in dance I dyed my pointe shoes orange.
They're gonna match out tutus.
It's going to be great!
This morning I had to take a make-up writing test.
I didn't know I was going to have to take it this morning and was caught off guard.
Needless to say it probably wasn't my best work...
I find it weird when parents comment on their childrens Facebook statuses using text talk.
Also text talk annoys me.
JUST SPELL OUT PICTURE FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!!
Okay this is sufficient for BEDA.
More Anna and the French Kiss!!!!

I got new books!

From the library.
Now I can read awesomely....as soon as I finish A Seperate Peace and it's affiliates.
I have nothing very exciting at all to recount to you today so I will tell you about a musical my friend and I are writing.
But it's confidential so don't tell Sondheim.
(Also it just started RAINING!)

Two Girls, Two Guys, and a Fish
This is a lovely story about 2 girls, 2 guys, and a fish who live together in a duplex.
They decide to host a Thanksgiving feast but soon find out that they are in over their heads when they all sleep for a WEEK!
With special appearances by the crazy cat lady next door who thinks they are always out to get her, but ends up falling for one of the guys.
Also by the dyslexic mailman.
And the other guy falls in love with Penelope, the fish.

Sooo....what do you guys think?
Sounds like a winner so far doesn't it!
haha

My eye was itching today.

Dear readers,
This is one of those times when I have no time to blog but would feel bad not to. I went to a band contest today and we did GREAT! The downfall was sitting on a bus for a total of 6 hours. Boo.
Now I am in need of studying and sleeping but studying is going to win because being freaking studious is programmed in my DNA or something. So this is short and sweet, or sweat, whichever way you want to look at it.

Monday, April 18, 2011

SUPER TIRED!

I'm super tired because I took an English test ALL MORNING!
Tests take a lot out of me and I felt like I could not function for the rest of the day.
Tomorrow we're going to a band contest!
The thing is the band directors haven't really told us when we play, if we need money for food, anything...
So we're just getting on a bus and going.
Yep pretty much.
Also I feel slightly sick...gonna blame the test.
Staring at a computer screen can't be good for you, except when on Facebook, or YouTube, or blogging.
Then it is perfectly exceptable.
Bleh.
That is all folks.
Nothing else exciting to tell so see you tomorrow.

Quote: "Some know buttons."

Sunday, April 17, 2011

I might be a klepto.

I stole a button from my from my friend's house.
It's of her "mom" when she was a cheerleader.
It's not her real mom but my friend lives with her because her family is weird.
I said, "Would she notice if this button was gone?"
And she said, "Yes."
But my other friend said, "Do it anyway."
So I did but then I forgot about it until today....I'm gonna have to think of a way to give that back.
hmm...
Anyway that is how I'm klepto-ish.
But not really.
Sorry if you thought this story was going to be better than it was and OH MY GOSH I have an EOI test tomorrow CRAP!
I don't like end of the year instruction tests. They aren't fun.
Also I have to take a crap-load this year.
Wish me luck!

Saturday, April 16, 2011

York pieces are good.

I just took a 2 hour nap and my brain isn't back up to functioning power yet so I decided to blog!
Today I went to a rabbit show.
That went well...then I smelled like rabbits.
Yesterday me and my friends did a photoshoot.
We went down by the lake and got by some rocks.
The problem was it was EXTREMELY windy and we were about blown away into the lake several times.
It got so bad that we started just huddling together.
Then we went and ate Chinese.
Then we went to our friends house and scared his cat.
And made him show us home videos.
All in all yesterday was pretty good.
:)
Now I'm gonna watch YouTube videos.
Woo!

Quote: "Some are artists."

Friday, April 15, 2011

Yesterday it was 80 today it's 40.

The last leg!

                    Darryl Philbin:
Darryl began working in the warehouse and has since worked his way up to the actual office! Darryl is funny and doesn't take Michael's crap. He has been in many gangs, Bloods, Crips, Newsies...

         Toby Flenderson:
Toby works in HR. He has a very dull voice and Michael really, really hates him. Toby went away once...but he came back. Toby's one of those characters that is just there.

            Holly Flax:
I love Holly so much! She has Michael's sense of humor but with her it's not as crude. She and Michael are super, extremely cute. I really just can't explain how much I like Holly!

             Karen Filippelli:
Karen Filippelli. She worked briefly at Scranton and also briefly dated Jim. I like her because she funny, I dislike her because she dated Jim. I'm Jim and Pam all the way.  I do like Karen though...I liked the Committee for Planning Parties. :)

Quote: "Some are artists."

Thursday, April 14, 2011

It's storming.

Next up is...

                     Kelly Kapoor:
Kelly is an independent diva. Part of the super popular pop group Subtle Sexuality. She's very into Ryan Howard and also Indian. Kelly is one of my favorites on the show. Also all the people in prison are gonna be like Dang you have a hot ex-girlfriend!

                    Ryan Howard:
Sometimes I like Ryan, if he isn't talking and you're just looking at him, then he opens his mouth and becomes a jerk. Ryan dates Kelly but never appears to really like her. He went to jail for fraud, worked in a bowling alley, and now his office is in a closet.

                      Erin Hannon:
Erin is also in Subtle Sexuality. She is kind of odd. Every so often she has a funny line, but she also is very immature. She doesn't get a lot of the office jokes...also she doesn't understand why Michael likes Holly. She was very cute with Andy and Gabe is just weird.

                    Creed Bratton:
Creed is just weird. There is nothing else to say about him. Oh,andhesmellslikedeath.

Quote: "Some get struck by lightning."

Wednesday, April 13, 2011

It smells like one of those trees you hang from the rearview.

I'm listening to In the Heights...big surprise.

Installment #3!
                    Angela Martin:
She's super tiny and super Christian. Angela might not be my favorite on the show but I love Angela Kinsey, so I like Angela. She's been there and done that with Dwight, even if she is still hung up on him. So Angela overall gets an A. Also she LOVES cats.

                         Kevin Malone:
Kevin is one of those characters that is rather stupid but every so often will come up with a GREAT one-liner. So I like him....pretty much. Kevin had a side job/idea of starting Malone's Cones but that fell through because he has a finacial problem. And that is Memphis.

   Oscar Martinez:
Oscar Martinez against popular belief is NOT the voice of the Taco Bell dog. Actually Oscar knows more about most stuff then of all the people in the office, actually. Other than that Oscar's just made fun of a lot for being of Spanish descent.

    Meredith Palmer:
Meredith. Is. Gross. There's probably more to her character than that but I just find her utterly disgusting. Oh and Michael ran her over with his car before....also Dwight stuck a bag with a bat in it on her head.

Quote: "Some have an ear for music."

p.s. The last quote, this quote, and the next couple come from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I just feel like I need to mention that. Also I don't make up any of the quotes...they all come from songs, poems, or books.

Tuesday, April 12, 2011

And The Office continues...

I think I'm gonna make this into a series...for the next couple of days.

                         Andy Bernard:
He's sings, he dresses "classy," he went to Cornell. He's Andy Bernard. The "Nard Dog." In college he got straight B's, they called him Buzz. Andy's okay, he can be funny and he can be excrutiatinly annoying, but he has everyone's best intentions at heart.

       Stanley Hudson:
Stanley doesn't really notice anything. He's sassy and on edge a lot. He had a heart attack. Everyone blamed Dwight, but Dwight blamed Stanley...

                             Phyllis Vance:
Phyllis is one of my least favorites. She pretends to be nice but is really PURE EVIL! Also this picture took a long and annoying time to put up so I'm just really annoyed with her.

Quote: "Some people were born to sit by a river."

Monday, April 11, 2011

Umm...well

My dad came home early.
Don't get me wrong I love my dad but he seriously cut into my "me" time.
Usually I sing loudly, practice the piano, and practice my songs for voice lesson (which is also known as singing pretty) but I don't sing in front of my parents....or hardly anyone for that matter.
So now that's not happening.
But enough of that GOOD NEWS!
I know you've all been dying to know what I made on my good essay (haha you all totally don't care but I'm gonna tell you anyways!!)
I got 100%!!
Not many people get 100's so I'm pretty excited :D
But enough about me.
Let's talk about the cast of The Office.
(And by that I mean I will narrate the cast with my personal opinion.)
                         Michael Scott:
Sometimes extremely cute and hilarious, sometimes idiotic and crude, Michael is the backbone of Dunder Mifflin. Always putting himself higher then he might actually be, all the workers love him and everyone will miss him when he is gone. Also a suprisingly a good sales-person.

               Dwight K. Shrute:
Most of the time I would just love to punch Dwight in the face. Always better than everyone else and lacking some self-control, Dwight owns a beet farm. Once in a while you really like him...but not often. Always trying to get Jim in trouble. (Also I secretly like his character...deep down.) Dwight learned the hard way that PowerPoint is boring.
                       Jim Halpert:
When I grow up and get a job as a secretary I'm gonna find a Jim Halpert and marry him. Jim is a hilarious, trouble maker who always has something to make you laugh. Married to Pam they are pretty much a perfect office romance. Jim is probably my favorite part about this show and that's all I have to gush about him today...
                 Pam Halpert:
Pam was the secretary, now she's office manager (or something). She's married to Jim (lucky) and is almost as hilarious and mischievious as he is. Pam went to art school for a time and still draws now and then. Pam's one of my favorites...she knows that a good thing for a burn is to pour sweet cream on it. Or something.

I think I'll finish the rest of this tomorrow?
How does that sound.
Mainly I'm just tired.
Sorry for being a bum!

I had a good title but can't think of it now.

I might possibly have a summer job :D
!!!
Church people are awesome.
Also I found a good Bible verse that expresses my feelings about people who go to church once and suddenly know everything about the Bible and God and everything.
Today was a good Sunday.
Well that's all I have thought up to write so I'm gonna eat lunch then finish my Biology definitions.
Maybe not in that exact order...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WAIT!
I thought of what I was going to tell you!
So I've been in a kinda reading slump lately.
I was just re-reading Paper Towns, An Abundance of Katherines, and Water for Elephants THEN I went to the library and got some books.
The first, The Schwa was Here, was good.
The second, The Last Safe Place on Earth, was weird.
And the one I am reading at the moment, Sara&Rob.com, is AMAZING!
After this I think I'm gonna read Anna and the French Kiss and start the Hunger Games because I've heard good things about those books.
I really love reading!
:)

p.s.s. Thanks Lex for reading and leaving comments, it really makes my day. :)
